Dear students,
We hope this email finds you well and in good health. In these COVID-19 circumstances, we would like to give you some information regarding the situation at the SS Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
All teaching activities at SS Cyril and Methodius University are already online. Distance learning methods were introduced on 16 March 2020 and, following the instructions of the Ministry of Science and Education and the University, their implementation will continue until further notice. In the meantime, we will be awaiting further instructions from the Ministry and the University, as, of course, the situation is subject to change as the crisis evolves.
All teachers provide students with instructions via e-mail and e-learning platforms, and are available to them during office hours via e-mail or other means of communication (e.g., phone, conference call, etc.).
All exams, midterms, tests and any other forms of grading and student evaluation are postponed until we receive new information from relevant institutions.
Also, accurate and verified information on Coronavirus is available on the official website of Republic of North Macedonia government: https://www.koronavirus.gov.mk.
Incoming nominations are administered by the central IRO of the University and more information can be found on the website: http://www.ukim.edu.mk/international/Erasmus. The recommended deadline to submit nominations is 15 May 2020.
We have also contacted our students abroad and informed them about their options (a) continuing their exchange at the host institution, b) continuing their exchange online at the host institution, or c) cancelling their exchange and resuming classes at SS Cyril and Methodius University and the procedures they need to follow.
