A working group from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, led by the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Valentina Gechevska and the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Ordan Chukaliev, held a working meeting with representatives of the Science Direct aggregator of the renowned academic publishing house Elsevier, led by Helena Patuska, manager for Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia. The meeting was held on 25.10.2022 in the Rectorate of the University.
The main goal of the meeting was to start cooperation with the most important aggregator for scientific research, Science Direct of Elsevier, through the analysis of possibilities for: access to full-text scientific publications and books, classifications by scientific fields, special editions, as well as instruments of the indexing base Scopus of Elsevier, towards improving the visibility of the University's research resources.
Cooperation with Elsevier, through Science Direct and Scopus, for the UKIM academic community, teachers, associates and students of all study cycles, offers opportunities to access scientific publications related to up-to-date scientific research, collections of academic publications for all scientific research areas, as well as improving the visibility of one's own scientific research results.
